At Rederij Aquamarijn, you can also order special sea urns. The urns can only be ordered on request. Please order the sea urn at least 1 day in advance.
Sea urn Brass Anchor
The sea urn Brass Anchor is made of cellulose and is painted with environmentally friendly, water-based paint. After being lowered into the water, the sea urn will float for a short while before gracefully sinking to the bottom. Here, the sea urn will biodegrade within a few days. You can use the rope to lower the sea urn Brass Anchor into the water in a dignified manner. As the urn biodegrades, the ashes are released to the elements.

Sea urn Turtle
The sea urn Turtle is artisanally handcrafted using biodegradable paper. Once you lower the urn into the water, it will float for a short while before gracefully sinking to the bottom. Here, the urn will biodegrade within a few days. Since the Turtle urn is handcrafted, each urn is unique. As such, the size, shape and colour of the turtle may vary. A mini version of the Turtle urn is also available for smaller amounts of ashes.

The sea urn Seashell is a unique water urn made of 100% biodegradable materials. The urn is manually airbrushed using environmentally friendly water-based paint. The sea urn Seashell is available in four wonderful colours. Its organic shape takes inspiration from nature. Once you lower the urn into the water, depending on its weight and the weather conditions, it will float for a short while before gracefully sinking to the bottom. Here, the urn will biodegrade within a few hours. As the urn biodegrades, the ashes are released to the elements.

The sea urn Beyond is a unique urn made of 100% biodegradable materials. The urn is soft and warm to the touch, and comes in five wonderful colours. Its organic shape takes inspiration from nature. Just consider the Japanese lantern or the bulb of a beautiful plant. Every Beyond sea urn has a leaf with seeds of both flowers and a tree. Bring the leaf with you, sow the seeds, cherish them and reminisce. The flowers will bloom as the seasons pass. Over the years, the tree will grow as a living memory of your loved one. The tree is a Robinia, from the Fabaceae family.
Once the urn is lowered into the water, depending on its weight and the weather conditions, it will float for a short while before gracefully sinking to the bottom, where the urn will biodegrade within a few hours. A rope can be used to lower the urn in a dignified manner.

The sea urn Memento is made of 100% biodegradable materials and is handpainted using environmentally friendly, water-based paint. Before lowering the urn into the water, the bereaved can place a unique, personal message into the urn. Twenty cards of handmade paper are included with the urn. The sea urn is designed to float for a short while after being lowered into the water before gracefully sinking to the bottom. Here, the urn will biodegrade after a brief period of time. As the urn biodegrades, the ashes are released to the elements. The sea urn Memento is available in three wonderful colours.

Scattering Tube Sunset
The scattering tube Sunset is sustainable, dignified and easy to use. The scattering tube features two chambers with a convenient, removable lid, including an interior lid with a perforated punch-out opening. The size of this opening allows you to scatter the ashes in a controlled, dignified manner. The scattering tube does not contain any metal or plastic parts and can be recycled or composted after use. This scattering tube can be taken on airplanes as hand luggage.
If there are multiple bereaved who wish to scatter the ashes or if you wish to scatter the ashes in different locations or countries, it is possible to divide the ashes over multiple, smaller scattering tubes.
The Scattering Tube Sunset comes in four sizes. The number five scattering tube is the default size for the ashes of an adult person.
